Tri-State Geologic & Mining Services LLC offers a complete array of mining related services. With over 30 years of experience in the mining field, you can be sure you'll be getting the best. Miner Training

We offer both new miner and refresher training (Parts 46 and 48) courses for underground and surface mines. We also offer Advanced First Aid Training. Coal miner instruction for Virginia, Kentucky, and West Virginia certifications are available. We provide classes in preparation for reciprocal State agreement conversion of out of state miner certifications. Also, we offer Virginia State Mineral Miner Certification training and Virginia / West Virginia certified foreman Continuing Education programs. Classes are scheduled on a need by need basis and are offered Monday –Friday starting at 8:00 am. Classes are given on Saturday and Sunday by appointment. Arrangements can be made for the training to be brought to your business location.

Mining Consultant

We provide services for contesting both State and Federal (MSHA) violations. We contest/negotiate the MSHA violations at both the District and Assessments levels. The fee for this is based on how much we save your company in fines. If we are unsuccessful there is no fee except for expenses incurred (e.g. travel, certified mailing, etc.).
